“That party was Epic!”  “You knocked it out of the park with that party.”  “Wow that was the best wedding we’ve ever been to, we danced all night!” Exactly what every bride and event planner hope to hear post party validating months of preparation.  It’s not the location, it’s not the food, it’s the entertainment you choose that evokes that type of reaction from your invitees.  Sure the food must be good and the location should be nice, but when it comes down to it your guests will remember whether or not they had FUN.

When we started to plan the Blue Carpet Bash, we immediately looked to our Happening List Wedding DJ WINNER, Icon DJ’s, to host our event.  I had the opportunity to work with DJ Amaze, one of the founders of Icon DJ’s, when I was the event manager at Kahunaville.  Equipped with that first hand knowledge and the word of good people of North Delaware who voted and chose Icon DJ’s as the winner, we knew we were in the hands of professionals.  We left the entertainment in their hands and we couldn’t be more thrilled with the results.

Event planning is stressful. You fear things like running out of food and what if nobody comes etc… Party arrivals are unpredictable~ that is why your entertainment choice is key to the success of your event.  We knew we had a SELL Out crowd and Icon DJ’s had our guests engaged from the moment they walked in the door.  The lighting, music selection, photo booth (complete with props and take home photo strips), friendly MC and the DJ personalities (who got out on the floor and showed everyone some moves) made it a night to remember!  We even had someone say to us “it’s events like this that make Wilmington cool”…and we agree!  We also know we need to give credit where credit is due and Icon DJ’s had a lot to do with the success of the Blue Carpet Bash.

Dave is an old friend of mine and I was very pleased with how available he was throughout the wedding planning and his supreme attention to detail. There was another wedding upstairs and their guests starting crashing our wedding because we were having so much fun! From start to finish, Dave and his crew were professional and more than willing to accommodate our needs. Icon DJ’s offered a great price for their services and they did an amazing job. I have no complaints and I would definitely hire them again for similar functions in the future
