For Theater & Non-Theater Students entering Grades 7th through 12th.
Do you really know how to audition? Do you stress over auditioning?
Learn what to do and what not to do at your next audition. Learn the skills needed to set your minds at ease and nail your audition. Work one-on-one with professional instructors and in peer groups to prepare for an audition. Learn monologues and songs suitable for school and community theater auditions. Prepare an audition packet, including writing a theater resume and biography. Headshots will be taken during each session with one complimentary print included in the tuition.
This workshop isn’t just about theater; it can boost non-theater student’s public speaking skills and socialization in peer groups. The skills used to effectively give a oral presentation or deliver a speech are the same as those used to complete an audition monologue. Non-theater students will learn the tools to become at ease with public speaking.
