Dust off your wings, shake out your tutu and grab your pouch of pixie dust ~ we’re celebrating the transition from summer to fall at New Castle County’s 3rd Annual Faerie Fest at Rockwood Park!

Sunday, September 20th is a magical day that will excite the little ones and the big ones, young or old – afterall, who doesn’t love an opportunity to play dress-up? Lots of fun and games, enchanted stories, creation stations (make your own Faerie Wings, Wands and Feather Hats), bubbles, faerie and gnome parades, ballet performances and the kids will be treated to a tour of the museum(whew!). To top it all off, you can enter the faerie house and gnome home contest!

The day also includes food vendors, faerie ware vendors, and visits from magical surprise guests! And, don’t forget to hang your wish on the “wishing bridge”.

Ballet performances by Wilmington Ballet Academy of the Dance and Delaware Arts Conservatory. Plus build a problem solving contraption with our friends from Hagley Museum in Tinkertown!
