North Delaware’s Biggest BLUEest Bash is Back!
45 days, 37k+ votes – Your participation made the 2nd Annual Happening List the MOST contagious people’s choice voting contest centric to New Castle County, North Delaware. Thanks to YOU in 2015, thousands of amazing LOCAL people, places, events, organizations and businesses were nominated across 11 comprehensive groups encompassing 170+ categories. Voting closed on February 28, 2015, and now planning for the BIGgest BLUEest celebration in New Castle County begins. Hot Diggity! With the Happening List excitement and anticipation reaching a glass breaking pitch, we are thrilled to announce and invite you to the Most Happening Blue Carpet Bash in the northern small wonder. Yep, once again, get ready to be A-Mazed!
NorthDelaWHEREHappening.com is rolling out the BLUE carpet on Thursday, June 18th from 7:00pm to 11:00pm at Newark Country Club located outside the lively University of Delaware campus nestled within the wooded country side. You will be impressed by the spectacular views from the warm, rustic clubhouse. This club has graced the Newark city borders for nearly 100 years(1921). Newark Country Club is known around the Brandywine Valley for having one of the best old-style, championship golf courses in the area including the best walking course. Requiring a private membership to play with many options from which to choose, the course is an 18-hole, par 71 with 6,396 yards from the back tees. Situated on 120 acres with a tree-lined lush drive, Newark Country Club views are beyond picturesque with a stretch covered terrace that just doesn’t quit, rain or shine.
Newark Country Club was a 2014 & 2015 Finalist in the Chef and a Finalist in the 2014 Wedding Venue #Happlist categories (still waiting for full 2015 results). Here, The Most Happening people of New Castle County, North Delaware, will gather and experience breathtaking views from both inside the clubhouse and bar as well as outside on the super stretch veranda lounge – all to celebrate a plethora of LOCAL successes. Break out your brightest electric BLUE attire and join us for another fabulous BLUE carpet cocktail party in honor of the Winners, Finalists and Nominees of the 2015 North DelaWHERE Happening List. After walking 24 feet of blue carpet, guests will be treated to some of New Castle County’s BEST. All winners will be presented their awards with plenty of professional photo op’s to show off! This special night of recognizing NCC’s best will also include free hors’ d oeuvres, three cash bars, a complimentary signature Blue Carpetini cocktail, live and LOCAL icon DJ AMAZE of ICON DJs, plus acoustic live jams by Marty Mitchell on the super-stretch terrace – oh and of course a few more surprises that we know you’ll enjoy. We will formally warn you this is not a sit down event or formal dinner. We encourage everyone to socialize, mix & mingle, get your photos taken, interact, let loose, celebrate and dance the night away.

We are throwing this 2nd annual fabulous party to celebrate all the Happening List Winners, Finalists & Nominees – ticket purchase includes one complimentary drink, complimentary appetizers and desserts, live music and DJ entertainment, photos, awards and much more. Like many participating in The Happening List, we are a small business and to throw an event this grand requires funding. Each organization received incredible free exposure just from being nominated. All we ask is that you come and enjoy the evening.
