Delle Donne is the 2nd Pick in the WNBA Draft

Look out Windy City here she comes!

The Chicago Sky selected Elena Delle Donne in the WNBA Draft and Delawareans are thrilled.  The SKY has just captured an entire State’s attention and I imagine they will see a boom in SWAG sales from the 1st State!

In her many interviews Elena mentioned that she plans to be a more aggressive defensive player, get a nutritionist, and grow her offensive game.  Now that she won’t be double and triple teamed who knows what she’ll do! She’s had so many record breaking achievments over the  years @ Ursuline and The University of Delaware that her fans are looking forward to following her professional career.

“This is a phenomenal team I’m joining, mentors who will help me out along the way,” Delle Donne said. “I’ll learn a ton from these players. We definitely have a great team. I felt I was a good puzzle piece for this team. You don’t say where you want to go before it was happening, but Chicago was my pick and I wanted to go there really badly.”
