Did you know that Melanoma is the deadliest of all skin cancers? Skin cancer is the most common type of cancer in the U.S.  More than one million cases of the disease are diagnosed every year, surpassing the numbers for lung, breast, colon, and prostate cancers combined. If you are fair haired or if you’ve suffered from a blistering sunburn one or more times you are suseptible.

Have you had your annual skin check up from a dermatologist?  If not, you better get on it!  Checking your skin regularly for signs of possible skin cancer means you’re more likely to catch it early and get more effective treatment.

A Message of Hope
“If my mom were still around, she would be an advocate for sunscreen and staying out of the sun for long periods of time. Since she isn’t, I want to be here to get the message across. Being a 25 year old female, I know the pressures of wanting to look tan. I also, unlike many females my age, know the consequences. No tan in the world is worth what I saw my mother go through”.
