The Wilmington Coin Club – a private nonprofit corporation dedicated to promoting interest in and enjoyment of the collection and study of coins, paper currency, tokens and medals – is hosting their annual show this winter.

The 75 year old organization was created for the benefit of its members and the local numismatic community. WCC is dedicated to promoting interest in coin collecting through both social and educational activities. Membership ranges from beginners to experts, and visitors are always welcome to attend regular meetings.

With the exceptions of May, August, and December, the Club meets on the 4th Tuesday of the month at the Luthern Church of The Good Shepherd, 1530 Foulk Road, in Wilmington. Meetings begin at 7:30 PM and end before 10:00 PM. The highlight of each regular meeting is a program on some topic of numismatic interest, frequently presented by a nationally recognized expert.

The 2017 Coin Show will be held at the Nur Shrine Temple in New Castle between 10am to 6pm from Thursday, January 12th through Saturday January 14th. Saturday’s program includes a free youth program for ages 6-16 with lunch provided.
