That’s right – in 2016, the competition celebrates all of the amazing people, places, businesses and events that make our North Delaware communities a unique, Happening place to live. Nominate your favorites today!

The Happening List features 13 primary groups and 260+ localized people’s choice categories with a fresh new look. On January 4, 2016, nominations officially opened for all of the best New Castle County people, places, businesses, and events. North Delaware = New Castle County. From the most talented home decorators and North Delaware’s favorite massage therapist to the most delicious food & drinks, click here to begin to nominate your favorites in hundreds of popular categories. What’s more, 2016 includes 90+ NEW categories.  Nominees must operate within New Castle County, Delaware. As always, the results of The Happening List are 100% up to you, the very people who make this region such a special place to live.

The Happening List Details

• 13 Groups; 260+ Cagories(90+ NEW) and a fresh new look
• Nominations for the 2015 North Delaware Happening List competition begin January 4, 2016.
• Nominate all your favorites in North Delaware, New Castle County here.
• Nominees will be added within 24-48 hours after submission. Nominees will be visible once Voting begins January 15th
• Voting kicks off Friday, January 15th
• Voting goes blind Tuesday, February 16th
• Voting ends Tuesday, March 1st at midnight.

For the majority of the contest, real-time updates of each nominees voting percentages will be visible. However, on Tuesday, February 16th, the Happening List results will “go blind” until voting ends on March 1st.

And don’t worry. We take our job very seriously. Once all the votes are in, the Happenings Media team performs a rigorous audit process to ensure a fair contest.

Nominees must operate within New Castle County, Delaware to qualify.
