Winterthur’s 34th Annual Point to Point…
Yes, there are horses at this event although I admittedly don’t think I realized it my first or perhaps even my second year attending. There are so many exciting attractions, tailgates ensembles, fashions, fascinations and the people watching is top notch, it’s easy to forget the steeple chase races are the reason you are there. It’s Rain or Shine! So bring your sunscreen and umbrellas. Gates open at 10:30am; Races begin at 2pm. This year there’s even sitter services www.signaturesitters.com, a professional babysitting referral agency serving the greater Wilmington area … by god, they have thought of it all!
Don’t have a wristband yet? There’s still time for YOU! Advance sales only. Wristbands must be purchased by Saturday, May 5th. General admission wristbands include access to all of the race day activities, free remote parking on Winterthur grounds, and the option to picnic on the Infield hill overlooking the race track and finish line. But note GA wristband holders do not have access to the tailgating areas.

Wristband Cost:
- $50 adult general admission (April 28–May 5) $15 young adults, ages 12–20
- Children under 12 free, but must have a wristband for admittance
