September 11, 2001

Where were you this Tuesday morning eleven years ago? I remember my coordinates vividly. In fact, probably one of the most vivid memories of my life. Perhaps a day that will be forever frozen in my mind.

Today, please take a moment of silence out of your busy day to remember the 2,977 killed  – in New York, at the Pentagon and in rural Pennsylvania – including two North Delawareans.

The attacks of September 11th were intended to break our spirit. Instead we have emerged stronger and more unified. We feel renewed devotion to the principles of political, economic and religious freedom, the rule of law and respect for human life. We are more determined than ever to live our lives in freedom.
