The chefs are preparing decadent dishes like pork buns, smoked salmon and herbed cream cheese roulade, pork belly sliders, and sticky toffee pudding. There are two past James Beard nominees – Chefs Caputo and Sikora. And the first Next Great Baker champion, Dana “Sugar Daddy” Herbert pits his best sweets against renowned pastry chefs from Classic Cake and Hotel du Pont.
All these tasty bites will make you thirsty, so of course, wine, beer and spirits tastings will be lined up among the restaurant stations, including Bloody Marys and wine from Crow Vineyard.
No good party is complete without entertainment~ and this event has quite the line-up. Enjoy a lively musical performance by Christina Cultural Arts Center and Kuumba Student Performance Ensembles, as well as Wilmington’s own DJs Zip and Jang O’Fett and Baltimore’s JMack.
It all takes place in the atrium of the Community Education Building, 1200 N. French Street – free underground parking included with your all-inclusive $75 ticket. Ages 21+ only, please!

The MidAtlantic Wine & Food Festival
The MidAtlantic Wine & Food Festival™ will once again bring the world to the MidAtlantic, and the MidAtlantic to the world in 2015. From Wednesday, May 13 through Sunday, May 17, 2015, chefs and winemakers from all over the globe descend upon the east coast to collaborate on 35 brunches, lunches, tastings and dinners. The Festival also produces year-round previews and special events.
Ticket sales are now live for 2015 Festival events; more events are being released for purchase this month.
Enjoy one-of-a-kind epicurean experiences, meet and chat with vintners, brewers, distillers and other experts, and take a culinary journey through what frontier historian Frederick Jackson Turner dubbed “the typically American region.”
