The Delaware Court Reporters Association and New Castle County Libraries are hosting a Veterans History Project Day on Saturday November 10, 2012 at the Brandywine Hundred Library, 1300 Foulk Road, Wilmington, Delaware. We invite American war veterans of all eras to come and be interviewed by a family member, friend, or an on-site interviewer. Your personal account will be recorded and transcribed and sent to the Library of Congress for the Veterans History Project of the American Folklife Center so that future generations may hear directly from veterans and better understand the realities of war.

This is our Twenty-first year of participation along with 61 similarly recognized sites throughout the United States. Operation Homefront Toy Drive | Volunteers Needed
Operation Homefront announced its annual Holiday Toy Drive to collect gifts for military kids. Operation Homefront volunteers and field offices across the nation will soon begin collecting donated toys, along with monetary donations, to be distributed to the children of service members this holiday season. We are seeking volunteers from across the nation to help collect the toys from designated drop-off points and assist at distribution parties.
