We couldn’t be more thrilled to share some of the most happening events ahead for those of you venturing out to celebrate this grandiose BLUE evening with us at The 2nd Annual North Delaware Happening List Blue Carpet Bash on Thursday, June 18th at the Newark Country Club. We are in awe of YOU! Are YOU ready for this?

Upon Arrival

Watch as you venture off West Main Street and on to the Newark Country Club grounds – once you step foot in to the parking lot – watch, you just might be exposed by the paparazzi, Courtesy of SugarHill Inc Photography & Patty Dean Photography. Go ahead do a little happening strut towards the grand entrance of the Club including 24 feet of Electric Blue Carpet. Welcome to the 2015 Blue Carpet Bash!

Guest Check In

Just inside, you’ll greet our MOST Happening BLUE Team at guest check in – there you’ll dot your “i’s” and cross your “t’s”. Grab your bash swag, awards and swift off to get your Award photos presented by ICON DJs. Here you’ll pose on yet another Blue Carpet in front of the NDH Step & Repeat. Mix & mingle for a bit, grab one of our signature cocktails, the infamous “BLUE Carpetini” made with Georgi Blue Vodka or a refreshing “McKenzie’s Hard Cider” to quickly quench your thirst presented by World Class Wholesale.

P.A.U.S.E. H.E.R.E. >> If you haven’t heard, we’ve GONE ELECTRIC BLUE! Yes, we know you might not have a spec of blue, so be custom creative for goodness sakes! Think outside the box. Accessorize as you wish – even blue hair is acceptable here. BLUE ALERT!! This year we will have 2 fabulous awards for all those fashionistas who like to make a statement – One award for the individual adorning The Most Happening BLUE outfit and One award for the Most Happening BLUE Entourage (blue group). Let’s see what you’ve got. Voting will occur some time Thursday evening by our NDH mystery judging panel. Let’s Make BLUE happen.

The Most Happening Awards

Do we have awards? H*ll yes! You earned it, right? We will have 8×10 custom awards for all Winners and Finalists in attendance on site the night of the event. You can pick them up at the door when you arrive, pose for a photo with your award on the Blue Carpet and then pass them back to our NDH team to hold for you while you mix and mingle. Don’t forget to pick them up again at the end of the evening. Hey FANS, we even will have a special award for you to take photos with on the Blue Carpet! We have YOU all covered.

DEL-ibrities

Get ready to strike a BLUE pose amongst some of DELAWARE’s most prestigious and renowned celebrities – we like to call them our DEL-ibrities.

BLUE Rocking Guest

Rocky Blue Winkle – Official Team Mascot of the Wilmington Blue Rocks will be with us from 7p-9p

This 7 foot tall blue moose is a familiar face around Frawley Stadium during the baseball season, as he cheers on the Wilmington Blue Rocks and mingles with the hometown crowd. During the off-season, Rocky visits local schools where he stresses the importance of reading to area children. NorthDelaWHEREHappening.com is a proud partner of the Wilmington Blue Rocks.

Mixing in UP!

AMAZing, Voted the People’s Choice Entertainer of the YEAR! Delivering The Most Happening party mix with a spectacular light show to glam up the dance floor. DJ Amaze and DJ LMJ and The MOST HAPPENING DJ team around – ICON DJs, will be spinning the tunes, lighting us up BLUE.

Amaze is DJ/Artist & Host and voted The Happening List Entertainer of the Year! His events are as diverse as his playlist: From Anniversaries, Clubs, Elementary Schools and everything in between! He is a Spring Break Legend having done tours in Cancun, Nassau, and Punta Cana Dominican Republic. His remixes and hype party tracks have been featured on both Crooklyn Clan & Av8 Records as well as commercial Radio. Currently, while continuing his career as a Dj/Artist, Amaze also works through Community & Music Programs to offer Dj Classes, and Music Technology Workshops, and Special Programs for Youths, Teens, and anyone interested in learning the art!

DJ LMJ – Born and raised in northern Delaware, Lerone has been DJ’ing regularly for over 13 years. He has always been into music since he played with his brothers DJ equipment as a kid. Even though he’s always ready to rock a party in the club or on campus, Lerone prefers to do weddings and private events. His high energy personality quickly captures his audience and gets the dance floor packed.

Acoustic Jams

We are ecstatic to have Marty and Cassidy from the Vigilantes Band joining us outside on the super deck to ruffle the rafters with their acoustic duo-ing jam. These two are sure to knock your BLUE socks off with their collection of Top 40 Hits, dance club favs and party classics. High-caliber musicians with the chops, experience and diversity to deliver any song, at any time with style and finesse.

The View

Our host with the MOST and WINNER of the Most Happening Wedding Venue, Newark Country Club. After you’ve taken in all the glitz and glam inside, be sure to head out to Newark Country Club’s super stretch veranda for a cocktail, a breath of fresh air and a few moments with that spectacular view. No worries here if it rains or pours, this festive deck has awnings and side scapes to keep you dry. Yes we have a rain or shine view for you!
