What are the Primary Elections?
- Primary Elections choose candidates for the General Election when two or more people from the same party file for the same office. The primary election’s purpose is to narrow the field of candidates before the general election on November 6th.

- You vote at your polling place. You will get a Polling Place Card in late July.

Where do I find Voting Results?
- The State Election Commissioner puts the unofficial 2012 Primary Election results on the Web Site shortly after the polls close.
