Ash Wednesday begins 40 days of LENT – “giving something up” – and ends on Saturday, April 4. With the snowy Mardi Gras just prior, you had plenty of time to ponder something life changing, creative and self-sacrificing. So how’d you do North Delaware? If you haven’t decided what to forego yet, consider what we found as most popular and/or most unique in 2015. We did not include the typical chocolate, alcohol, swearing, soda, fastfood – blah, blah. Dig deep.  It’s intriguing year after year even for those of us who are not Catholic to hear what the top sacrifices are and moreso what you decide. We can all stand to do more with less. No time like the present.
