Delaware Hospice’s Festival of Trees ushers in the holiday season with its unique display of decorated trees and wreaths, special holiday events, and thousands of visitors. As Delaware Hospice’s premier fundraiser, the Festival of Trees is made possible through the support of the community. Hundreds of volunteers help organize and run the events; businesses and individuals sponsor trees and wreaths, which are decorated by artisans who donate their time and talent. 4th Friday Drum Circle| Newark

5K and 10K Runs and 5K Walk at Handloff Park on Barksdale Rd in Newark. Both courses (5K and 10K) have been Certified. There will be 10 men’s and 10 women’s divisions in each run. The first 500 registrants will receive a long sleeve T-shirt. Prizes will be awarded to overall winners, as well as winners in age group categories for each run.
