Newark First Responders Wing Eating Competition

Newark’s Aetna Hose Hook & Ladder Company and Newark’s Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 4 will compete in the first annual Newark First Responders Wing Eating Championship. All event proceeds will benefit Preston’s Playground — an all-inclusive park, which will be located by the beautiful Newark Reservoir Delaware.

8th Annual Junior Achievement Hockey Challenge

The doors open for Family Skate with FREE rentals at 4 o’clock.  The Family Skate is sponsored by Prom Girl LLC.  There will also be a silent auction, raffles, plus games of chance and skill. The Flyers Alumni team take the ice at 7 p.m. to battle it out with the JA All-Stars.

Spring Forward Sunday 2016

Sunday, March 13th at 2:00am Eastern Time marks the beginning of Daylight Savings Time(DST) 2016 and to some the end of winter(spring starts officially on March 20th).
