With the hustle and bustle of the Holidays, it’s nice when you have one less worry like metered parking.  The City of Wilmington, Newark and Middletown are offering you FREE parking over the holidays.

CITY OF WILMINGTON

If your venturing into the City of Wilmington for a little holly jolly shopping adventure or to experience some of the City’s spectacular theatre experiences enjoy FREE on-street metered parking every day – Sunday thru Saturday – beginning at 12noon each day. Motorists must still observe the two-hour parking limit (vehicles can only park on a city block for two hours, after which time the vehicle must be moved to another block); however, there is no need to place coins in the meters after 12 noon.
