Newsweek released a comprehensive list of America’s Top High Schools of 2014, and we were thrilled to see that New Castle County had one on the list – even more remarkable, it’s #10 in the Nation – the only Delaware school and one of only two Charters schools overall. #Proud! Newsweek reports: “Newsweek’s 2014 Rankings highlights schools that do the absolute best job of preparing students for college. This year, our methodology is more stringent than ever with new measures of quality and a higher standard for data. A next to a school’s name means that low-income students are scoring at or above average on state assessments. This is our way of recognizing schools that narrow the achievement gap.” Way to score CSW!
