One of the latest restaurants to open in Wilmington, North Quarter Creole, hosts an authentic New Orleans Crawfish Boil. They will be serving Crawfish flown in from Louisiana, shrimp, Andouille sausage, red potatoes, and corn on cob in a Beer Butter Boil Sauce…YUM!
Foodie Friday is an evening of culinary adventure for a great cause at Alapocas Run and Wilmington State Parks. Some of the areas leading Food Trucks will feature small plates, and special menu items. Try your favorites as well as daring new dishes. Beer and wine will also be available.
An organized team fundraising walk that benefits the American Cancer Society. Members of each team take turns walking while camping out around the track. Food, games and activities provide entertainment and build camaraderie.
The Monkey Hill Time Trial and Kick-off Party will feature food trucks, a craft beer garden, and live music by Special Delivery Band! Admission is FREE!
The Wilmington Grand Prix is one of the premier criterium-style bike races in the U.S. Fans and attendees can enjoy course cafes, a DJ, a Family Expo on Rodney Square, live music, demonstrations, a street festival, and a sidewalk sale.
An impressive group of outstanding professional artists from the Brandywine Valley area will exhibit and sell original new works of art.
Come to Delaware Park for a celebration of craft beer and spectacular cars. The Grove Tent will host the craft beer festival where 30 different breweries will be pouring samples for guests. The Gears portion of the event will take place in the Track Valet area of the parking lot and will feature spectacular hot rods, muscle cars, classics, trucks, and exotics.
Your ticket includes sampler mug, unlimited samples (while supplies last) music, food vendors available to purchase food, gather some friends and come out to support Middletown Main Street and have some fun!
Chat and chew with fellow opera fans at a festive, pre-performance tailgate at OperaDelaware! Prior to the Saturday performance of “Hamlet”, OperaDelaware will host a Pre-Opera Tailgate at their studio lot, just blocks from The Grand Opera House. Transportation to and from the show will be provided.
Be among the lucky few to spend a Night at the Museum. The evening starts with a Star Party led by astronomers from the Delaware Astronomical Society followed by a walk through our trails to roast marshmallows over a campfire or snuggle up for a nature movie in the auditorium.
A ceremony honoring our nation’s veterans will be held on the University of Delaware’s Campus Green at Memorial Hall, followed by the parade on Main Street in remembrance of those that gave the ultimate sacrifice and wreath laying ceremony at the Academy Building lawn.
