It’s time to dust off your wings, shake out your tutu and grab your pouch of pixie dust~ we’re celebrating the transition from summer into fall at New Castle County’s 2nd Annual Faerie Fest at Rockwood! It’s a magical day that will excite the little ones~ plus, young or old we love an opportunity to play dress-up? Lots of fun and games, enchanted stories, creation stations (make your own Faerie Wings and Wands), bubbles, faerie and gnome parades and the kids will be treated to a tour of the museum. To top it all off, you can enter the faerie house and gnome home contest! That sounds like a pretty wonderful day to us.
Special Guests
You can expect to see the most famous of faeries, such as, the Fairy Queen, the Tooth Fairy, and Philip the Gnome. Plus other magical surprise guests! Admission to this event is free, but a fee will be charged by food and retail vendors.
Free Activities
Face painting, bubbles, art on the rocks, story time, museum tours, faerie and gnome parades, wing craft, and wand craft. There is a $10 fee to participate in the Faerie House and Gnome Home contest. Register Now!
