Antiques Show Preview Party
45th Annual Antiques Show weekend starts off with our Preview Party on Friday evening, May 27. This celebration allows for a first look at the extraordinary objects and furniture beautifully displayed by the dealers in the courtyard and throughout the museum. Zip + Sip Craft Beer Festival
Start your day with GoApe’s Treetop Adventure and zip line through the trees of beautiful Lums Pond. There will be limited spaces available for zip lining for a separate cost on the GoApe website. Participants that are zipping must complete the GoApe course prior to entering the beer fest.
Shytown
If you grew up in the Wilmington area in the late 70’s and early 80’s you know all about the legendary Shytown. Fun live performances and a great combination of cover and original songs. A regular at the Stone Balloon, Shytown was a “must see” band during the tri-state area’s golden age of the big rock club.

Wilmo a Go-Go Car Show
Poppycock Tattoo’s 6th Annual Wilmo a Go-Go Car Show will be held at the Wilmington Riverfront. Come for the cars and stay for the bands, food, art, and vintage vendors. Compete in or enjoy watching the pin-up and mustache contests!
A Night of Divas
Oddity Bar hosts “A Night of Divas” once a month on the last Sunday of every month, featuring a line-up of intensely fabulous queens. The event is hosted by Miss Red Star Infinity and Miss Veronica Kitten.

Memorial Day free admission for active military and their families and for military veterans.
Mt. Zion Cemetery Memorial Mass
The annual Memorial Day Ceremony at Mt. Zion Cemetery on Lancaster Pike near Elsmere will take place at 11 a.m. on Monday. The Rev. John Bailey will preside over the service and Judge Alex Smalls will update attendees on plans to restore the historic black cemetery, which dates back to the Civil War. Memorial Day Field Mass
Celebrate the eternal memories of the fallen at the 57th Memorial Day Field Mass and military tribute at All Saints Cemetery on Kirkwood Highway. Bishop Mallooly will officiate beginning at 10 a.m. Mass lasts about an hour. All are welcome to attend.
Kennett Square Memorial Day Parade
Beginning at 10 a.m., the Memorial Day parade in Kennett Square features bands, military, local businesses, and reenactors. Participants firing muskets into the air is a highlight! A great day honoring great military heroes!
Downtown Elkton Memorial Day Parade
Starting at 10 a.m., join Join Elkton in observance of Memorial Day with a tribute to our Veterans. Active Military and those we have lost will be honored. The best viewing place is on the corner of North and Main Streets. Visit www.elktonalliance.org for more information.
