It’s not Candyland, it’s Downtown Wilmingtons Gingerbread Lane Map!

Wilmington Renaissance Corporation (WRC) has partnered with local schools to create  Gingerbread Lane along Market St.! Be sure to check out the 19 gingerbread houses that have been created and displayed by 9 participating schools; Kuumba Academy, Bayard Middle School–REACH Program, Elementary Workshop Montessori School, Cab Calloway School of the Arts, St. Anthony of Padua, Shortilidge Academy, Padua Academy, Concord High School & John Dickinson High School.

Score cards are located at each Gingerbread spot for your voting pleasure.   The top three houses will receive prizes, so be sure to drop your ballet in the box.

The winners will be announced on Saturday, Dec. 17 at 2 p.m. in  the Copeland Room above the Delaware History Museum (504 N. Market St.). In addition to the public vote, celebrity judges Dana Herbert of TLC’s The Next Great Baker and Jennifer Behm of MasterChef Season 2 will also choose their top design.
