Guy Fawkes WeekendRemember, remember!
The fifth of November,
The Gunpowder treason and plot;
I know of no reason
Why the Gunpowder treason
Should ever be forgot!

On November 5, 1605, Guy Fawkes and his companions tried to blow up the Houses of Parliament in what’s known as the “Gunpowder Plot.”  Lucky for King James I (and those wigged lords), the conspiracy failed.  Let’s forget that nasty bit of the past and celebrate like Anglophiles all over the world do on Guy Fawkes Day — with a bonfire!  Well, if you didn’t receive a party invitation or the means to build your own bonfire, why not check out NorthDelaWHEREHappening’s list of the most intriguing events for Friday, November 4th through Sunday, November 6th.  There’s plenty for everyone in the family to enjoy!

Remember, this is just a TEASE, check out a full listing of events on the NorthdelaWHEREhappening.com calendar of events page.
