Not many holidays stir the memories of lights extravaganza and sparkly sights quite like Christmas. A unique time to appreciate the extension cords, tangled lights, inflatables, animated figurines and some of the most creative artistic minds. We’ve collected some of the local “Must See” Holiday Lights and Sights in North Delaware and beyond.
HOLIDAY LIGHTS
Faucher Family Christmas House
1054 Red Lion Road, New Castle
The Faucher Family’s house has been lighting up the New Castle/Bear neighborhood for 30+ years. The lights on Santa Clause Lane are spectacular – so much so the traffic slows for miles as folks stop by to get a glimpse of this holiday marvel. Nearly every inch of The Faucher house is decorated – just imagine what 1,000,000 lights would look like. Try to imagine getting that electric bill! Many Thanks Faucher Family! Donations are appreciated and accepted!
The story of the Faucher house made it to Unplggd, Gizmodo, Philly’s Fox TV affiliate, and even across the pond to Britain’s Daily Mail. Shout out to North Delaware!
